Family & Community Support Services

Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) is a partnership between the Province and municipalities to develop locally-driven, preventive initiatives to enhance the well-being of individuals, families and communities.

Premised on strengthening individuals, families and the community, FCSS funded programs build knowledge, skills and healthy behaviours, improving quality of life and building capacity to prevent and deal with crisis situations should they arise.

In general, Airdrie FCSS programs are granted a three-year funding term. The next funding cycle will begin in January 2026, with applications opening in late spring or early summer, 2025.
